After being treated by a local podiatrist almost continually twice a week for 2 years, we were referred by another doctor to UVMC Wound care. Our experience has been wonderful! The staff has been very caring and accommodating. My husband has been going once a week for about 2 months now and his wounds are healing. They did a culture and discovered MRSA. I had to come here in 2023 and again this year for extended treatment. I have nothing but good things to say about this facility. Everyone is very friendly and caring. I unexpectedly had to come back about six weeks ago and they got me in the following day of my doctors office calling them. I needed supplies for changing my dressing at home and they were ordered before I left their office after treatment and I received them the next day. Great people
Horrible. And bizarre that they force patients to bring wound care supplies with them to appointments or else refuse care. Then they blame wound care nurses at other facilities instead of taking responsibility for their bad care.
I was referred to Upper Valley Wound Clinic by my PCP’s office, and encountered an incredibly dismissive and belittling provider. Without introducing herself or examining me, she stood across the exam room and explained why should would not be treating me. During my visit the nurse practitioner stated “I don’t know who sent you here” and “If I had a crystal ball I wouldn’t be standing here”.
