Went for an upper scope, was told repeatedly I’d be put to sleep as I have severe anxiety. Instead, they switched out my IV for fentanyl. Kept me wide awake, and told me to stop talking when I tried my hardest with a camera in my throat to say “I can’t breathe” choking on vomit. Lovely place. Totally recommend it.
If you have an actual emergency then they are most likely to send you to a different hospital. Some of the staff here are incredibly disrespectful to the point that it borders malicious compliance. This hospital is in dire need of employees.
