This place is so messed up I’m literally trying to build a new home in upper Michigan and get them to install new service and can’t get a quote from anyone The online application is screwed up and the receptionist is basically clueless It’s almost like they don’t want my business no wonder theirs so many solar installs and off grid cabins up here

Should be able to do zero stars for this trash company! I recently moved here from Minnesota and they are charging double to triple the amount I used to pay for the same usage. The “distribution fee” is half of my bill and higher than the fee for my actual electric usage, it is absolutely ridiculous and that full fee should not be passed onto consumers, especially in a low income area like the U.P. The company is also owned by Canada now so that’s where your money is going. A shameful and greedy company.

I worked for 4 hours to clear the power line from the pole to my neighbor's house alive pull to pull power line that is buzzing going through the trees contacting the trees in multiple places and I let them know and they told me tough too bad don't know what to tell you unless there's a fire or a power outage now I'm taking pictures I've done the work that I needed to do and they won't do the work they needed to do they should be held accountable and God help us if someone gets hurt because of upper peninsula power companies... read more
