Upper Missouri River Guides delivered the most professional and delightful guided canoe trip for our group of nine. The gear was top notch, the guides were attentive and knowledgeable and food was delicious. I highly recommend them!

I very much enjoyed my experience with the Upper Misssour River Guides. The guides (Jackson and Matt), the staff (Haley), the river (7 day trip through White Cliffs (WOW) and badlands), the weather - reasonable heat and no storms, the food (healthy delicious and ample), the equipment (canoes were so agile and light), the information about the river and its history, and even the day before and after in Fort Benton were all exceptional for me. There may be fancier outfitters there, but none better!

Sixteen years ago, I did this trip and it was the adventure of a lifetime. Coming back, I wasn’t sure it could measure up—but it absolutely did! Upper Missouri River Guides knocked it out of the park again. Booking was effortless (thanks, Haley!), the pre-trip meet-up was fun and reassuring, and our shuttle drivers were rock solid.
