My husband and I paddled the Breaks of the Missouri in early September with the Upper Missouri River Guides. Aside from skies dulled and grayed with wildfire smoke, everything about the trip was fantastic. The tents and sleeping pads were glamping quality. The food and meal preparation were also top notch. .The guides - Shawn and Dave - kept things moving when necessary and guided us to rest and visit otherwise. All aspects of the trip were well prepared including what to expect on the river, what the company would provide and what we should bring. My Daughter, Son and I had a FANTASTIC experience on our 7 day Canoe trip this August. Steve, Jackson and Coulter were the absolute BEST as guides, cooks, entertainment and problem solvers. Besides the beautiful scenery, food was plentiful and down rite good, and we seemed to laugh a lot! Star gazing was excellent. I certainly hope to have the chance to do the trip again. Thank you!!!!
We celebrated my sister in laws 70th birthday with the Upper Missouri River Guide trip of a lifetime. What an unforgettable experience! The guides were so accommodating. The food was amazing! We had a great time with the others in our group! We highly recommend this trip!
My wife and I had a great trip on the upper Missouri, July 10th-13th, 2024. This was our first guided camping canoe trip. The guides, Steve and Colter, made us feel very comfortable. They were great at setting up and breaking down camp and skilled at loading the canoes. Steve and Colter were knowledgable, competent, fun, and good cooks also! Haley’s desserts were delicious. Definitely the only way to see the White Cliffs. We found the cliffs to be magnificent, as described by Captain Lewis over 200 years ago. Highly recommen... read more
