I used to think this place was cool until today. I tried to get an appointment to schedule and get in and find out that you have to walk in. You know the problem with that is I'm not some lazy SOB who's on SSID and have a job so some of us actually need appointments. Thanks a lot great job I'll go find somebody who's more in tune
If I could give zero stars I would. This facility is a Christian ministry masquerading as a legitimate mental health office. My first visit, there was a Gideon's Bible in the mental health literature. My visit with a therapist, her office was covered in Bible verses and Christian aphorisms. The final straw was the 700 Club playing in the waiting room. This is not a neutral space that is patient-oriented or medically professional. The groups discussed everything I needed to hear at the time. I am very grateful to the staff for their positive attitudes, patience, and understanding. I am glad to have had that break to recover and think.
