I visited UPMC Wellsboro today for a Weldexa Imaging scan. I was so impressed by the cleanliness, professionalism in every area of the hospital. It was immaculate. All of the staff were helpful & friendly. I received excellent care & I would choose this hospital, though far from my residence, if I had to be admitted as an In-Patient. It is small, mangable & personal. An excellent choice!
This place is a hospital. Went to the out patient unit for blood work. Fast registration, most of the time, not a long wait time. Staff is very helpful and professional.
Medical records department are not friendly to request. Young lady on the phone was quite rude.
Nobody answering phones in wellsboro UPMC, called twice, it rang 10 minutes second time it just kept ringing. Wow, nobody was at the station that long!
I was at this ER yesterday and I had a nurse named Nick. He was, by far, the BEST nurse I’ve ever had! He truly cared for me as his patient. Not only did he do his job duties, he conversed with my grandma and I. He made us feel comfortable and at ease. Nick was very professional and had the greatest bedside manner. Also, he checked on me often, explained what was happening and what was going to happen and made sure I understood. EXCELLENT at putting in my IV and taking it out, leaving no bruising or lumps!
