I've been going to this place for over 30 years. My kids all went there. Until the last few years, I have been relatively happy. However, the last couple years I've been billed for routine, preventative care during my annual physical. My health is good and nothing has changed. My insurance covers routine preventative care. I have been a patient of Dr. Zaretskaya for 11 years and I can't say enough good things about her. She is a compassionate Dr. who cares about her patients. I have Spasmodic Torticollis and she has helped me so much. In fact she just moved her office to Pittsifeld, Ma and I now live in Westfield and I chose to travel to keep her as my Dr. She also has a sense of humor and we have had many laughs together. Waited in a waiting room full of other patients. Most had waited 2.5 hours or more. Sat with a concussion waiting for a CT scan while a little one had a gash on his head bleeding. The slowness defeats the point of an emergency room. Additionally people don’t get up and leave because there are NO repercussions for the hospital ER if any of us leave.

My insurance only pays if I go to Quest. After several stressful attempts to get a blood draw from Quest in Camp Hill, I finally gave up, and decided to pay to go to a new Lab. PinnacleHealth Outpatient Laboratory employees get a five plus star. They were efficient and very kind. No, I am not rich and I don't have the money to pay high co-pays to go to another lab, but it sure did feel wonderful to be treated like a human by people that actually care and act like human beings and not robots. Dr. Sprodes ordered a medication for me without checking my chart to see my other meds. Thank goodness the pharmacist was competent and caught the error. It was very dangerous. Her staff discussed politics in front of me in a very heated manner while I was waiting to be released. She has the receptionist call you and give you information and you cannot ask the receptionist any questions. I do not recommend Dr. Sprodes or her office.

Cannot stress enough how horrible the after care is at Magee. Was not only given completely incorrect information about breastfeeding but also given the wrong nipple shield which made me bleed and unable to pump(against their advice before 4 weeks but what out pedestrian says is fine to do once the milk comes in). With their other advice saying not to supplement our son lost a ton of weight until our pediatrician told us to supplement and pump as much as possible to get him the proper nutrition. Dr. Bohonyi is a terrific doctor. He is committed to the care of his patients, including limiting prescriptions for over usage of opioid for pain management..his expertise is above and beyond which is why I have not only been a patient for years but also why I refer friends to his practice.

Very rude man. Went for an evaluation of my hip (which needs replaced). He asked if I smoked cigarettes I said yes and he proceeded to tell me he wouldn't do my surgery til I went to smoking cessation classes and was clean for 30 days from nicotine. I understand smoking is not good for you but he could have said this all In a nicer manner. He never even looked at my hip. Would not recommend this Dr to anyone. I will never return.

When you call in with concerns the nurses right you off and tell you nothing is wrong. They also treat the patient like they know nothing. They are obviously unable to handle the capacity noting that making an appointment is out over a month. They will also reschedule your appointment with out asking you. I would not recommend becoming a patient here if possible.
