My 91 year old father was admitted there for back pain. He had prostate cancer and we were worried it had metastasized. They kept him in the hospital for 10 days. Ran a slew of tests, so they can bill Medicare (as I was told Medicare pays quickly so they like that). Should not have ran any tests with dyes, because of his kidneys, but they did. DO NOT GO HERE!
i have been waiting a week for results of CT scan so i called and was told it usually takes 3 weeks to get them IMO that is to long.
Do not trust this this hospital. Loved one appeared to die suspiciously and suffered.
Went in with elevated pulse, very high blood pressure, and uncontrollable shaking from head to toe. Had to stand outside the ER and answer questions. My wife had to fill out paperwork, because i was shaking too badly to do it, before i was allowed back. Got a ringers infusion and monitoring. No conversation from staff for two hours. Finally, after I was able to urinate, was told I had a urinary tract infection, probably due to the prostate biopsy I had had 10 days before. Was given more ringers, Tylenol, and an antibiotic. wait time for blood work greater than 45mins .patients were made to wait then herded 6 people at time to sit outside the lab in very close chairs in a hallway then wait another half hour , My lab tech wasn't friendly ,This used to be a nice place .Looks like the remodel has ruined this lab that you used to be able to get in and out in 15mins ,
They do not pay enough and they pay too much to the CEO. They hire the worst to manage others. Cruel, bullies. They do not care about anything but money. Oh and they need to pay their fair share.
They are very nice but when I called to talk to a nurse about a family member I understand there busy they ask for a call back number but they never call you back
HIPPA violations galore, patient neglect, abuse, lying about treatment, filthy conditions, patient safety issues, threats of punitive retributions if I didn't agree to certain procedures (If I didn't agree to have needless bloodwork, I didn't get my necessary meds), going with out food for over 24hrs because THEY didn't have my necessary meds in their pharmacy, refusal to answer questions about my treatment, shall I continue? One star is 10 too many
Im not sure how to rate my stay at you hospital. I was recently admitted for bleeding. I was bleeding enough to have to have a blood transfusion. I was admitted to the 4th floor GI. My issue isn't with the hospital or my doctors. Actually the doctors were great the hospital is a great hospital. My problem is with my nurse care tech care. My first nurse told me not to flush my toilet until she saw the amount of blood. She never came back. I did show it to the tech. He said oh ok and flushed. My next concert was my IV.
