VERY POOR follow-up, treatment and customer service. It took months to get an appointment and an additional month to get the study read by a sleep doctor. I found out that I had POSITIVE result (sleep apnea) via the patient portal, not a phone call from a single person or even a letter. Treatment options (included surgery) were provided via the patient portal in a multiple choice type of email. A description of the options was NOT provided nor a link for me to get educated. Check around for better and less expensive places. UPMC has other testing facilities. Patient beware of predatory billing practices.
I had a scheduled sleep study and was turned away. These appointments take months to schedule and thousands of dollars out of pocket. Their system let me down. I prepaid and checked in online only to be rejected at the office because I didn't answer a phone call while I was at work.
