I took my mom to see Dr Kane, he was beyond rude. He seemed bothered that we were even there. He treated her terribly and is by far the nastiest Dr I have ever dealt with and I work in Health care. I will never take her back to him. He should not be in health care of any kind.
I was a patient of Dr Guo who I loved. He was amazing. When he left I became a patient of Dr Kane. I am a UPMC employee myself, and LPN of 22 years. I did not have a very good visit with Dr Kane. I left the office pretty upset. He then refused the refill on my medication that I have been on for a few years. I will not be going back to this office. I will be finding a new Urologist. If you have chronic reoccurring issues he is not the doctor.
If you have a serious urinary issue, do not go here. Dr. Kane was extremely rude to me. He asked me why I’ve diagnosed ‘myself’ with chronic UTI’s. I tried to explain that I have a long history of kidney stones/UTI’s. Which he did not want to hear. I’ve had sepsis from a kidney infection before and ended up in the hospital with IV antibiotics. Rude dr kain, treats patients like they don't have a brain, very very dismissive, would not answer questions. Terrible bed side manner, he should not be a Dr. !!! I will be going to another Dr.
Horrible experience! Dr. M. Kane was arrogant. Tried asking questions and I was dismissed. He seemed to become quite irritated that I had questions about treatment and diagnosis. I left the office beyond upset and will never return. One star is one too many.
