After making the long drive to Cranberry and getting 9 TUBES of blood taken, I get a call from this lab that they forgot to refrigerate one of my blood samples and ruined it. Now I need to go back and get it done again. I struggle so much with needles and blood work, and it feels so crushing to need to do it again. I also struggled to find the appropriate call-back number to get this information from the lab. I'm incredibly frustrated with this blood work lab.
The remodel at Passavant is beautiful and the service and lab technicians continues to be excellent. For any first time visitors, since they're not currently on epic you'll need to have your labs printed with you or stop at the desk. From there, use the kiosk to check in for on demand lab services. I had an excellent experience at UPMC Lab Services in Cranberry. The staff were friendly, professional, and efficient from the moment I walked in. Check-in was smooth and quick, and the phlebotomist was very skilled—my blood draw was painless and done on the first try. The facility was clean, well-organized, and I appreciated how respectful they were of my time. I was in and out much faster than I expected.
The wait was short even though it was a long line! The person who took my daughters blood was very kind and compassionate
