My experiences in the ER over the years have been consistently disappointing. The doctors I’ve seen had an unprofessional and dismissive attitude, which made me feel like patients are viewed as adversaries. During one visit, I was vomiting and immediately accused of narcotic withdrawal, even though I’ve never used narcotics. We drove a little further to go to this ER because the hospitals closer to us had horrible reviews and we had a wonderful experience here! We walked in got registered and got seen quickly. We were in and out in about an hour. In that time they did vitals, x-rays, diagnosed my son with a small buckle fracture, put him in a split and we were discharged. Horrible attitudes, medical assistance and signing a document before you even have services. Watch them anyway...if UPMC has to do some lying to cover , not a healthy atmosphere.
Dr Wadas is a terrible Dr just looking to charge as much as he can to you or your insurance downplays severe pain and acts like it’s no big issue choose any ER but this one
