As a pharmacist, trying to get a practitioner on the phone from their telemedicine department is a nightmare. The number they give you to call is the myupmc number, and they are useless to help. Its a tech support desk. So trying to get a medication changed or prior auth started is next to impossible. How a healthcare company thinks this is remotely well thought out is dumbfounding. Get better UPMC, this is awful.

I came here in extreme pain for a cracked rib. They were very judgemental and thought I was blowing smoke. They were also rude and everything took forever. Even though there was no one there that day. I ended up leaving very upset and still in pain. I went to another hospital and my rib was diagnosed and handled with care. Worst hospital experience I ever had. Avoid if possible.
