We went to two other local emergency rooms to try to find out the cause of my Mom’s pain. The other ER’s just gave her pain medicine to ease the pain. At Seneca they left no stone unturned and did every type of scan they could do to figure out what is actually the cause of her debilitating pain. We didn’t get the answers we wanted but we got the answers we needed and they found the cause. They transferred her to Shadyside hospital in Pittsburgh today where she is consulting with her new oncology team.

Might I also add I came in with a temp below 92. My body was shutting down. And I was experiencing hypothermia. I was the only and first person there when I got there. Managed to sit in the waiting room for three hours before being verbally assaulted. Nobody but me in the waiting room. Over three hours. Someone needs fired. I was an immediate emergency situation and got ignored while I cried and shook in pain on the floor
They are good at helping the patients, but if you have to get transferred to another hospital, make sure that's where you want to go! I wanted to go to St. Vincent in Erie, but they didn't want to have to do the paperwork to send me there! I was very upset! It's MY CHOICE! I should have demanded!
Wait for over 3 hours in ER waiting room People sick and injured should not be treated this way. This ER is unprofessional and understaffed!! Would not recommend this hospital at all!! Go somewhere else!
