THIS PLACE IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE! I took of two different days of work just to have my appointment cancelled THE DAY BEFORE! They also said they did testing in office at the one appointment I did go to YET THEY NEVER DID A SINGLE TEST! The schedule you just to cancel without even calling! They are very unprofessional and I refuse to ever trust them to deliver a baby with how unprofessional they are. Absolutely WORST OB OFFICE!!!
I had the worst experience I’ve ever had with a UPMC office at UPMC Magee Women’s Specialty Services in Farrell. Throughout my prenatal care, I constantly felt like I was being pushed aside instead of cared for. Getting anyone to answer the phone is nearly impossible. If you have an urgent question, you’re forced to leave a voicemail and hope someone calls you back hours later. They completely misdiagnosed the issue after I'd given them a detailed medical history. Then, after I'd insisted on a test after the medication prescribed obviously didn't work, they again prescribed the incorrect medication for the issue. When I explained I needed a different medication, they were rude, refused to change it, and told me I would need yet another appointment. I can see why I was able to get in within a week. They're incompetent. I ended up going to urgent care.
I don’t even really want to write this review because when I used this office when pregnant/for postpartum care I had an excellent experience. But what happened yesterday has me flabbergasted and I think it needs addressed. So 5/5 stars for past care, but 0/10 for the phone call I had with the receptionist yesterday. I have mastitis and spent the majority of the day yesterday unable to leave the couch.
