My wife and I just had our first baby here. We found out very quickly that things don't always go according to plan, and ended up needing a C-section, which neither of us wanted or expected. Our team throughout the whole stay was absolutely fantastic with taking care of us and our new bundle of joy. Of all the faces we saw, there wasn't a single one that didn't show an immense amount of support and care for all three of us. I gave birth to my first baby back in July 2024 and if we ever have a second, it will definitely be here. We had to come in to be induced and I was so nervous as a first time mom. My amazing team of nurses and midwaves made sure I understood each step of the process and explained any and all options that I had going forward with my labor. We had such a wonderful experience at UPMCS Magee-Womens in Carlisle. I gave birth there back in September with our first baby. We had such wonderful, kind, and supportive nurses. I had heard such great things about this womens center and we actually switched practices so we could deliver here. We are SO glad we did. Our care both during labor and after delivery was 5 stars.
