I wanted to take the time to share my gratitude for the professional care i received last night. Came in with abdominal/gall bladder pain at 11:30pm. I was instantly triaged, had a bed labs EKG within minutes. CT scan within the hour and had surgical consult at 2:30am and was in surgery at 8am. Everyone throughout the entire process was professional and caring. I was highly impressed with the level of care i received when in today’s world, everyone wants to bash this small hospital ER. KUDOS!

Never a good day when you have to visit any ER, but today at UPMC Farrell I was highly impressed with the level of service and professionalism. Thank you...

Most of the people I interacted with seemed like they didn't see me as a person at all, they acted very indifferent and aloof. The only exceptions were the intake receptionist and the x-ray technician who were above and beyond 5-stars on their own. They're the only reason this review isn't 1 star. The other people I interacted with explained nothing about what was going on (what tests were being ordered, what my test results were), and the notes for my visit were apparently copy-pasted from someone else's experience (the phy... read more
