I do appreciate the availability of this facility and staff. Many who live in this area consider it a "medical vacuum", having to travel so far to get help. The wait on information-gathering and for a room is incredibly difficult for patients in pain. Anything that can be done to shorten that period would be VERY appreciated. Beyond this, my experience was positive, and I thank the staff for that !

it ain't perfect (it's a damn hospital) but don't let the one-star reviews dissuade you if you truly need help. only disconcerting thing is the fox news broadcast in the waiting room, especially given this hopsital's status.

I had a medical emergency last night and my husband took me to the Greenville Emergency Room. As my husband was filling out paperwork, and I was in dire stomach and abdominal pain, sweating and claims, ready to pass out my husband asked how long it would be before I saw a doctor. The woman checking us in stated since there were alot of people waiting I would have a long wait.
