My suggestion to anyone in the Chautauqua County and Jamestown area, if you have an emergency, CALL AN AMBULANCE!! Its the only way you will receive prompt attention. If its at all possible, either go to Westfield, Dunkirk or any other medical facility in the area. Even of you go to.Urgent care in Lakewood ny,. unless its a very minor problem, you will still NOT RECEIVE the care that you deserve. That is, unless they call an ambulance because you are so sick that you can't wait
My daughter went to WCA emergency room at approximately 12 pm on September 29 and ended up going to the Westfield NY emergency room about 3 to 4 hours later, having to DRIVE HERSELF!!! She had been having abdominal pain for 3 days. She left WCA emergency WITHOUT BEING SEEN. I'd say why she went but that is actually NOT RELEVANT!!!! This hospital shouldn't even have an emergency room whether its understaffed or whatever reason. Chautauqua County and Jamestown in particular isn't a huge area.
