I would give this dr a star- i was his patient and in end of October2024 I accidentally inhaled sanding wall dust developing aWhezzy cough I called dr Mcadams he order 1 chest X-ray nothing by november 2024 0 findings cough got worse I called for another Xray & granted it then he told me to come in office Instead of telling me what was wrongHe told Me He didn't like it when patients play Dr? EXCELLENT bedside manner, a true gem, thorough, very friendly, he takes great care! I recommend him highly, doesn't make you wait very long and if so apologizes. Great staff at UPMC as well.
Disappointed with the bill I received from the office of Dr. Philip Pollice. My bill was OVER 1,000 dollars for a single visit because I had a sinus infection. Office charged almost 500 dollars just for the visit because the doctor wrote me a prescription?? Another 600 dollars to look up my nasal cavity with a camera. I called to complain, and the woman said a manager would call me back. it's been weeks and I have not received a call. I will never go to this office again. I have seen well over 10 different ENTs and several Vestibular PTs in the 20 years that I have had BPV. I have lived elsewhere in the US, so I have seen many. He is the most dismissive, rude, and uncaring medical provider I have ever encountered. Not only that, but he was clueless about my concerns I told 2 of his subordinates, a nurse and a PC ALL of my symptoms, years of this condition, maneuvers, etc. for 10 minutes before I saw him. I would give less than one star but it wouldn't allow it. They switched my records with another patient. I called every day of the week before my colonoscopy to try to get my issue resolved. The day before I called and ask to speak to a supervisor. None was available all morning until I said I was sending a report to UPMC authorities. A supervisor was magically available then. Then they told me more stories that I don't believe.
Went in with elevated pulse, very high blood pressure, and uncontrollable shaking from head to toe. Had to stand outside the ER and answer questions. My wife had to fill out paperwork, because i was shaking too badly to do it, before i was allowed back. Got a ringers infusion and monitoring. No conversation from staff for two hours. Finally, after I was able to urinate, was told I had a urinary tract infection, probably due to the prostate biopsy I had had 10 days before. Was given more ringers, Tylenol, and an antibiotic. The worst pharmacy to deal with. There have been numerous issues with them. They can’t seem to decide if they are going to deliver my prescriptions or not, I never know from month to month what to expect. I have had to wait for almost a week for a med I needed immediately, by the time it arrived I didn’t need it anymore. I called to see if my meds were ready and they confirmed they were. I was his patient and switched to a different Dr. Due to my law suite against him for wrongful death. Be aware of this doctor he's rude loud and unconcerned with his patients
