Boy oh boy do we miss Dr. Werne, and are so sorry he's no longer with us. He always had time to talk to me about my health concerns. Now, I call about a big change in my blood work and request to talk about it with the physician's assistant that ordered the lab work and she doesn't have the time of day to speak to me. She has the office staff call and tell me to diet and exercise. (My cholesterol went from normal to high and I exercise plus lost weight!) I was in town for vacation and overnight developed a bad cough. Several urgent care places were closed or fully booked, so I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The receptionist, nurse and doctor were all friendly and professional. I got there just at the end of lunch hour and was taken in right away with not even a 5 minute wait. The doctor listened to my concerns and provided guidance and support. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking medical care.
Went in as a walk in with my father who had a minor cut above his eye. Was told they would see him in about half of an hour. After an hour they called him up for a copayment, so we assumed since we paid he was going to be seen soon. Well about 10 mins later staff called him up and said sorry we can’t help, you may have to just go to the ER have a good day and shut the sliding glass. I am not sure what happen or why we had to pay just to sit in the waiting room for an hour but I would never recommend this place.
I could've gone in there with an ingrown hair and they would've diagnosed me with covid. I stopped in because I have a sinus infection which I have a history of getting. No one addressed that. They immediately asked if I wanted to be covid tested. I declined. So they listened to my chest (I was not having issues there, but I get it... cover all bases) and found nothing in my lungs. I see Dr Yinkey and my husband sees Dr Werne. We are both happy with their knowledge , proficiency and level of caring. This clinic is also very convenient because it has walk in appointments to see the nurse in case of an acute condition. Hopefully they will stay in the community for a long time to come. UPDATE: I no longer recommend the walk in clinic, it has hired some very rude , unprofessional staff who bully and gossip about patients. Update#2, that rude PA no longer works there.
