I had a hard time finding a primary care doctor who was accepting new patients, especially since I wanted to stay within UPMC for my records. At 19, I was also struggling with my mental health and knew I needed to make a change from my pediatrician. After some searching, I finally found Altoona Family Physicians, and I’m so grateful I did. I’ve been here for two years now because I wanted a family doctor that wasn’t strictly a pediatrician. And so far I’ve loved them, the office ladies are kind and friendly, the residents are kind and friendly, doing everything in their power to do. HOWEVER Dr Phillips (overseeing physician) is the WIZARD OF OZ!!!! Does he exist??!! Where is he? Does he have a signature?? They don’t know how to answer their phone apparently, typical UPMC healthcare worker, lazy
Absolutely just terrible. Nobody answers the phone. Call 3-4 times with no answer. If somebody does answer the phone it is 15-20 minutes later....Unbelievable
