Ordered a boba tea. The diameter of their straws are smaller than the diameter of their tapioca pearls, making drinking the boba impossible. Their tapioca pearls are also undercooked and have a hard center.
Most of the food is good, but recently the sandwiches I bought were not fresh. The tomatoes were obviously going bad. I hope the store can improve their quality control and make sure the ingredients are fresh.
Absolutely delicious! The texture was perfect and the presentation was stunning. It’s rare to find a bakery this good. Highly recommend!
Got a custom cake for a birthday, made it exactly like the reference image for a price ($35 base for a 6 inch) much lower than the big names on 86st. Overall, the cake tasted nice but the cream felt a bit denser(oily), but other than that, great cake. Not overly sweet and nice flavor for the cake base.
Food was ok. Basic dim sum offerings. Ate chicken over rice (added soy sauce and Sriracha), braised chicken feet,, a hot milk tea and a custard bun. I was really hungry, so this did the job.
