Bought my table and chairs 20+ years ago when I moved into our 1st apartment. 3 houses later I was debating to buy new chairs or give these old ones a makeover that was WAY OVERDUE! Dave from Upholstery World in Lombard IL killed it! I’m soooo happy with the results! They don’t make furniture like they did and these will probably last another 20yrs! I def recommend contacting Dave at Upholstery World if you have something old that needs to be transformed new! Amazing job!

We are very happy with the level of expertise demonstrated by Upholstery World/FJ Furniture. We recently had a 1930’s couch and matching chair reupholstered by them and we couldn’t be more pleased. They picked up the furniture and delivered it back to us when it was completed. It probably looks the way it did when it was brand new back in the 1930’s. It’s absolutely beautiful. The workers at Upholstery World/FJ Furniture are very skilled, and Dave (the salesman) is very knowledgeable, pleasant and professional.

Dave did an excellent job rebuilding and reupholstering all 11 of our Thomasville, American Country, dining room chairs. He came to the house with fabric samples, which to allowed us to select the correct fabric, wrote the contract, and took all of the chairs to his shop that day. He estimated 2 weeks to repair all of the chairs. He beat his own estimate and returned the chairs to us in 1.5 weeks. He rebuilt the chairs with new webbing, foam, and fabric. We had 3 quality and well-made couches that we loved but were tired of the fabric. We called Dave to see what options were available. Dave is without a doubt a man of his word and a conscientious businessman. He was most patient as we talked about fabrics and honestly answered all our questions relating to the process and the choice of material.
