As a courtesy, we did waive our cost to re-diagnose fish123's vehicle. When you go to a doctor for a 2nd opinion on your medical condition, do you expect that doctor to accept the previous doctor's opinion and then examine you for free? Also, when warranty work is performed, a shop is at the mercy of the warranty company inregards to the replacement parts.
Gary & Steve tried to charge me for work that they performed without my knowledge or consent. Had already had my car diagnosed at another location that does not do transmissions, had told me transmission was fine but that I needed a shifting sensor that should cost between $200 - $500 installed. Brought it over to Up Front Auto for a quote for that specific repair. Gary told me that the transmission was shot and needed to be replaced, $1900 - $2500. Terrible place to do business. They just install parts that have nothing to do with your problem. AVOID AT ALL COSTS The owner makes threatening phone calls to your home. This has to be the worse place to bring your car in the entire Binghamton area!!!
