I’ve been going here for years and Scott really is the best dentist I’ve been to. There is a level of care and interest in me as a patient/person but also I feel like I’m being taken care of in the best possible way. Also, Tammy is a top tier hygienist.
Dr Updyke does excellent work and patiently and with good humor answers questions.
When I said I didn’t want an xray, they literally yelled at me and refused to do cleaning or check my teeth. It was one of the more bizarre experiences of my life. I had been a client there for a few years with no issues to that point. I wanted to skip it bc I had never had a cavity in my life but I had recently developed severe thyroid issues and I didn’t want to expose my thyroid to the radiation. The Doctor and staff are all great and work hard for their clients. However they do not seem to care if you have insurance coverage for their services or not. As they do not bother to advise their patients that they are no longer in your insurance network. Not only for a time , but for 3 years of time. Personally I find this unacceptable as I am sure I paid much more than I would have with an in network provider. Bottom line is be sure your coverage is in network for your best rate of care.
Everyone at this office was incredibly friendly and kind! Krista was the best hygienist I’ve ever had - she was funny, gentle, and explained everything she was doing so I knew what was going on! I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but I can’t wait to go back to the dentist??
