Unfortunately I had a miscarriage, with some complications, but everyone at UofL midwives was so helpful, especially Dr Katana. They made a difficult and scary experience easier to navigate and I will forever be thankful for them.
Katana is my HERO! I had great experiences with all of the midwives throughout my pregnancy (Katana, Emily, and Denise) and the staff was always friendly & welcoming. I’m really glad I chose to see the Midwives of UofL and would highly recommend them. They care so much about what YOU want and don’t try to push any agenda. During my actual labor, Katana came in 10 hours early for her 24 hour shift to support me during a difficult and long labor. I had my first kid almost 5 years ago and saw the midwives at u of l. I called to schedule an appointment with a midwife today and was told u of l no longer has midwives. What’s up with that? What is going on
