The customer service and the communication for this company is horrible. Since you can't email, you have to call them directly, in which you talk to a different person each time. I wish I can get the recordings from the conversations I've had with them and play them for people. You wouldn't think it was real. I can't believe that my job has their employees go through this. Not sure what is going on with the Out sourcing of this company. Talked to two people today, and neither were Based in the USA. This is the first time this has happened.
I got UNUM through work, it was what the company used to replace AFLAC. HUGE mistake! I am contacting HR and dropping them. This my first attempt at filing a claim for an injury and my first time looking at the reviews. I should have looked at the reviews before I made the mistake of paying to be ignored and treated like I don’t exist. We are not a huge company, only around 600 employees, but I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one getting this treatment. Absolutely ridiculous company! FYI they are located in South Africa, which the rep initially refused to tell me. I was greeted with the biggest attitude while I was being told my claim was denied due to my policy being cancelled, not true. I literally just spoke with my companies HR who advised me everything was in place and I was eligible. Unfortunately, I have no say in what company I use because it's through my employer but should you need to start a claim with them GOOD LUCK! HORRIBLE customer service!!
