Do NOT ever use this scam company. They trick people into paying for their garbage policies and then when you need them, some pencil pushing office clerk without ANY medical training will override actual Doctors. It is no surprise they lost 2 class action lawsuits for illegally denying or terminating claims for over 200,000 people, and we're fined 15 million dollars.
Unum is ridiculous. I'm taking paid family leave and unum drags it's feet with the benefits.
I received nothing but considerate, compassionate care and correspondence during my experience with Unum. I worked with three different representatives, Kanita, Brianna & Amee, all of which were both professional and positive. I’m very thankful for both the manner and the promptness of the entire group. I would highly recommend them.
The departments depend on each other so much but have 0 communication, so no one knows what's going on. Incredibly frustrating, and delays things by months for no reason.
