They collect millions of dollars from employers, employees and self-employed people and deny just about all claims. I went through hell with Unum and finally decided to take legal action. I hope it turns into a class action lawsuit since Unum deny claims without ANY merits.
Predatory insurance at it's finest they make you act out of diress to deny claims very unethical should be out lawed like predatory lending
