I cant even begin to express the frustration I have with unum. In the more dire times you expect the help you've paid for but this company have been making more and more obstacles. If you fulfill what they ask for they'll send you another request for something else. It's never ending asks from them. It's like they are a scam. Absolutely horrible

Wow. I have minimal experience with STD insurance. What a joke. Constant nonstop battle to fight for the money you are owed. I am sitting at 59 days with no payments. Then I got a check in the mail for $21. Yep no zeros there. Called (again) said I will be getting another payment in 5 days for $2000 for the first month. Not even close to enough . I don't even know what to say at this point. If the goal is to wear you out until you give up, then they win

Last year, things went pretty quick and this year it says they are reviewing my case. I spoke to my case manager and she basically got angry about why I called her. Like hey, the letter says is expected to be approved and still hasn’t been approved. I’m going into my third week. So, I won’t get a full paycheck and they are still reviewing. You pay into this and you have to jump through hoops to get things approved?!?! Like why am I paying into this?! I don’t even have vacation or sick time. My experience since January 20 has just been back-and-forth unclear none of the agents know what’s going on with the case when I call I’m just really disappointed

Horrible service would honestly give 0 stars of possible was trying to fix my claim online and over the phone was hung up on 2 times worst service possible
