If I could ride on lower score I would. I was talked in to buy Unum representative to get long-term disability and so I took it out. It's been nothing but a nightmare with this company. My short-term went through fine but as soon as it changed the long term I kept getting run around by their representatives. They try to claim everything's a pre-existing. I’ve left one review and it was bad, this is worse. If there was negative grade I’d give it. After applying for disability in October 2024, my wife was diagnosed with ALS, we were told there was a six month waiting period. Ridiculous in itself. After jumping through flaming hoops we finally were approved. Oh but now the six months isn’t back paid like we were told.
