How dare UNUM claim to protect people’s income when, in reality, they actively make it harder for people to get the treatment and support they desperately need. Their practices are absolutely appalling. Instead of helping, they consistently deny FMLA claims, leaving employees stranded and financially devastated in times of need. Awful, evil, and terrible. In the future I will screen employers to find out if they use Unum and I SHALL NEVER DO BUSINESS with a company that uses Unum again.

I have a LTC policy. Can't log on. Called reps twice for tech help. Each told me, after going through multiple hoops, to try again later. Very questionable.

I swear companies must hire this place to disincentivize people from ever taking time off. Horrible horrible experience. They ask for documentation and then when you fill it out, they advise it wasn’t the right form. You provided the form! They also claim they don’t receive paperwork, even after i had confirmed with my doctor that they had sent it over to the number they provided. Absolutely inaccessible and impossible to deal with.
