If I could give less than one star I would. Every review here is proof just how terrible this company is and I can't believe they haven't been canned yet. If you ever get denied on your claim decision, just know that even when you submit tons of new proof for your appeal, they won't even glance at it. They'll still only look at what they used for their initial decision- stating that anything submitted after that point is disregarded. So what's the point of trying to appeal? Humbled to be the 20th, 1-star review. Couldn't respond to multiple cancellation requests spanning a month, but I know brokie started foaming at the mouth the day premium is due.

This matter requires immediate attention. A company of this size should be capable of supporting its clients and maintaining a more efficient process. Dealing with an illness is already stressful, and being forced to do additional work due to inadequate service only adds to the burden. This has been a truly frustrating experience. Please note: the one star is given solely to allow submission of this review—no stars are deserved.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Over the past three days, I called Unum four times to clarify how many weeks I’m entitled to for medical and bonding leave—and received four completely different answers. One representative even claimed I was eligible for fewer weeks than I received during my last pregnancy, despite nothing about my situation having changed except the law, which should now be more favorable.
