UNT is a participating member of the Medicare GUIDE program which is a free program for dementia patients to keep them in a home instead of a facility. My roommate has Alzheimer's and qualifies. We were told we had to make an application and had to come in to do so. My roommate gets all medical care thru the VA and is paid for 100% so we told up front we were not interested in any services only applying for the program. They seen Less knowledgeable, and have to ask the upper level doctor or supervisor for more details to answer questions... And them the wait to get in is way too long. If your appointment is at 3:15 and you dont get called in till 4:30, for no reason
I have been calling for 3 days in a row still can't get anybody to the phone
