My sons prescription wasnt in stock where it was supposed to be sent to so when i called to transfer it to my usual pharmacy i was told they couldn’t find the walmart i was talking about , then i tried a CVS and she said she was able to find it and will transfer the prescription, hours passed , i didnt hear anything so i called CVS to see if his prescription was ready and i was told nothing for my son was popping up , Office is closed till Monday , so i cant even get my son his prescription he needs now . I had to call multiple times just to get an appointment scheduled. Every time, I would wait 10–15 minutes on hold, someone would answer, say they were with a patient, and ask for my callback information with the promise of calling me back within 30 minutes—which never happened. I went in for my 3 month appointment and after talking to the doctor they prescribed me some medication for anxiety and sleep (which is great and amazing on them for helping when I asked for it)… But they sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy and when I called to ask them to change it, it was impossible to get ahold of anyone. After I was able to get it changed myself I find out that they sent in my birth control shot INSTEAD of the anxiety medication. Dr. Hensel Dr Medina and Dr Alfarra are amazing!! I would not go anywhere else. They have changed my life.
Dr. Barr is great, but I am considering finding a new primary care provider. I don’t believe this is the fault of the providers, they have an administrative issue. It is borderline impossible to get someone on the phone. I had a virtual appointment today at 10:20, did not even hear from them until 20 minutes after. They checked me in virtually at 11:45 and now I am on hold again at 11:10 for probably another 10-15 minutes just to ask someone at the front desk what’s going on.
