1st I wanna say Dr. Thompson as a doctor I really respect, but as the HSC specifically policy on appointments I consider to be among worst. Have all but few (aprox. 3) being on time Hsc has 15min grace period, I arrived 13 min and told had to reschedule even after talking to manager, said his rule was 10 min which was never told till at the time, so being amongst the 3rd dr. Sometimes it did but usually it did not happen overnight. But visits in partnership for my care with this location over the years for osteoarthritis in my knees and neck has meant a boost in my frame of mind because of the restoration of my mobility and an improvement in my quality of life because they eliminated my pain with none invasive manipulations. I am just so grateful!
Absolutely terrible. They will not refill any prescriptions you bring from another primary care doctor even though they scan them in the system. If they don’t prescribe them, they won’t refill them. Save your time and money. Avoid this family practice. We are very disappointed in their customer service. I have filed a compliant with Cigna as well. They would not even refill my Flonase, because another Doctors office prescribed it. Makes no sense at all.
I was called by Rosa Amaya because the pediatric floor sent to my 17 year old son's info to them as a referral. I express to her that my son had recently been in the ICU and the hospital for over a week and needed to follow up, have a med check, and just generally be seen by a doctor after his hospital stay. She told me that she could not promise any kind of med check or med step down on the first appointment.
