I went in as my vision had noticeably change since my last exam 3.5 years ago. I was seen by the student optometrist (Sri Baia, I think I spelled that right) who was exceptionally professional and patient. Sri walked me through a battery of tests including the normal prescription tests, but also a number of other tests (pupil dilation, eye pressure test, dryness, etc.) Sri's supervisor (didn't catch his name) was also very professional and helpful. BEST BEST BEST DONT WALK, RUN this eye test was the most comprehensive and best I’ve ever had. I was helped by Jennifer Du who was really patient and helpful. She also really took the time to explain what she was doing and I really appreciate it 999/10 super good. Also 100/10 supervisor too (forgot his name) with his fantanbulous looks of focused hipster only bestest by his unbridaled skill in optometry. All in all super recommend, you won’t regret it
I visited the UNSW Optometry Clinic for a consultation. Although I informed them that I had a recent thorough examination at Specsavers, and had only a specific query on this occasion, I ended up receiving multiple doses of eye dilation drops, numbing drops, and dyes without being fully informed about their potential dangers and side effects. Excellent service. This was by far the most thoroughly conducted eye exam that I've had to date, which made me feel reassured. The student optometrist who conduct my examination was great at explaining what they were doing at each stage, and it was very interesting to see how the supervisor supported the student throughout. Glasses were a good price and arrived in 10 days. Would highly recommend.
