I speak very highly of Dr. Ruppert hes the most caring , commpassionate person. I took a few cats to him in the past and the staff really cared about my cats from the past and present. Im going to take Frieda to him, because she has a weight problem ever since she was given to me. Dr. Ruppert might run some test to see if she has a hormornal problem. UNO Animal Hospital is the most wonderful veterinary practice I have found in 38 years of having dogs! On August 8th of this year, my 10 year old Basset Hound Dexter, who I had for eight and a half years became very withdrawn and bloated. My fiance rushed him to UNO Animal Hospital and Dr. Ruppert diagnosed him with a stomach tumor that had ruptured and was filling his stomach with blood. We had to put Dexter to sleep unfortunately. I recently moved to the area and wanted to establish a relationship with a great Veterinarian for my accident/ illness prone 80 lb mutt. After two visits with another highly referred office in the area, I didnt really feel like they cared about me or my dog. That changed with Uno and in particular Dr. Koltfarber. He and the staff have provided very thoughtful, caring and pragmatic care of my dog through an ear infection and a pretty nasty bout of pancreatitis that required a 3 night stay in their facility. I cant speak highly enough of Dr. Ruppert and his staff. My little geriatric poodle (16 years old) is still happy and wagging today because of his care and his sensitivity to my fixed income. His staff has helped me file for financial humanitarian help when I needed it for Doc.I dont know whos heart is bigger .... Dr. Rupperts or Docs!!Thanx Dr. Ruppert & staff, keep up the good work!

Dr Ruppert is the best vet I have ever had, lived in three other states and never had the care, compassion & knowledge for my dogs that Dr Ruppert has given. He and his staff were extremely compassionate when I had to take one of dogs, a gentle old shepherd named Brodie to be given a hand across the Rainbow Bridge. I dont believe a better vet exists. Ill be moving out of California soon, and the only thing that bothers me about leaving is losing Dr Ruppert! Thank you Dr Ruppert..................for everything!
