I have always received great care at UNMH, trying to set up an appointment at the cancer center has been a nightmare. When you hear the word cancer, it is very frightening. You call to schedule and get a scheduler who is neither compassionate or empathetic it is quite sad. It hasn’t been just one phone call, so it couldn’t be a bad day. I have every confidence that the nurses and doctors will be great once we are able to get an appointment.
