I attended the PA symposium this past weekend and heard Shelbie Michaels speak. She did a fantastic job in describing the difference between alienated and estranged children. I am an LCSW therapist myself, and could tell that she has a level of competency and understanding that few professionals have. Her work with foster children has broadened her knowledge base. She is a great asset to the movement to put an end to kids caught in the middle of high conflict divorce.
