I was unhappy with the staff at the Unleashed at SE 39th and Powell in Portland a year ago. I felt talked down to, scolded and I missed how the associates used to always said "Hi!" when I walked in the door and didn't anymore. I complained — on yelp? I can't remember where. All that is in the past and the store at is again my favorite. Staff members are friendly and listen to my questions about products. The dryer does not get very warm which makes it unpleasant for the dogs. Also, I have always done "self wash" and have been able to use my own scissors so that I can remove any matting which can be seen when dog is wet--this location does not allow that--for those reasons I likely would not come back to wash my dog there.
Get some real good deals. The employees are very helpful. Always satisfied whenever we shop at Unleashed.
