Update: I bought this SUV about 4 years ago and have still never had any major issues. Best $4k I’ve ever spent! I bought this car just shy of a year ago from this business for around $4,000. This 2008 SUV has been GREAT! I’ve put near 12,000 miles on it and it hasn’t given me any major issues. I was in and out in less than a few hours with the keys in hand. Good, honest people with super fair pricing. If I ever need another used car, I know where to go!
We’ve bought 3 great used cars from Mr. Hobgood over the years. He’s honest and a nice guy! If he doesn’t have what you’re looking for, his sons will look for it at auction for you.
I don't like to shame businesses, especially local and family owned ones, but I'd be doing a disservice to the public by not. We purchased a car in October from Univeter for 6K. Everything seemed great: Low mileage, clean carfax, no issues, plus Rodney and H.A. seemed like great family guys. The next morning, all the lights came on and my husband was stranded on the side I-75 because the engine had overheated.
