I’m about to be completely honest. This place is worse than the greed they describe in the Bible. Every time this apartment has problems and can’t fix all of them they think rebranding the name would solve anything it doesn’t. We know you’re still the infamous The Ivy (H-Ivy) not "The Grand" you think you are. Updated review: My building didn't have hot water for a week straight and they kept saying it was fixed but it never was. We received no compensation. AC never got turned on for about a month at the beginning of this semester. There are Wi-Fi outages all the time. I was woken up by the fire alarms once. Maintenance doesn't do anything. They charge you $10 to send a recheck photo if you fail your weekly clean checks. They don't care about you, they just want your money. If you own a vehicle do not sign leases here. Management does not alert you if parking permits are no longer available before you sign a lease. Finding alternative parking, especially for semesters besides spring, is expensive and time consuming, leading to extra commuting time and added costs(by needing to aquire permits for off site parking). Another note, "overnight only" parking shouldn't exist, just convert that to more standard parking. Overnight parking is only $50 cheaper but you need to move your vehicle off site ev... read more
Maintenance doesn't actually fix anything half the time, if they actually get permission from management to do anything. We've had problems with mold, flooding, fire alarms going off at 3am, WiFi outages (with no fix in sight), broken amenities, damaged couches, etcetera.
