I want to praise the University Spine Center in general and a couple special people there. I had a worsening problem caused by stenosis and, after lots of pain, PT, and more pain, I landed in the good hands of the UnivSC and an amazing surgeon - Dr. Nikhil Sahai. He said I'd be walking the day after surgery and I was! He was also easy to talk to, spoke in complete sentences, and made me understand what was coming. I am very pleased with the care I have received from Dr. Sahai. He is a thorough and confident surgeon. Prior to my surgery, Dr. Sahai answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. Dr. Sahai took the time to follow up with my recovery. He recommended other specialists to help with my chronic medical condition. I completely trust him and would highly recommend him. There is nobody better! Laura,Taylor, Alyssa, and the entire staff is top notch! Dr Sahai also did a great job with my cervical surgery. I am truly grateful for everything that they have done for my quality of life.
I was referred to Dr. Sahai by my pain management doctor. I had an appointment 2 weeks later. Dr. Sahai was kind, explained the fusion surgery I needed, showing me where and why the surgery was necessary. We met with Dr. Sahai again and left the office feeling confident that he was the only one who could help me. Today 5 months post-surgery, I wonder why I wasted my time with epidural injections.
