Living at University Ridge has been an absolutely miserable experience. My unit (13B) was placed directly next to FIVE massive HVAC condenser units that ran loudly 24/7, making it impossible to sleep or live comfortably. Despite countless maintenance requests and even spending money out of my own pocket to try to soundproof, management refused to take any meaningful action. If I could give this 0 stars I would. I’ve been a resident here for over 2 years. I’ll let the images speak for itself. Also plenty of roaches and spiders. Inside and outside of your apartment. So many that should be liable to pay rent too because that’s how often you will see them. Also when you request pest control they never come and lie and say that they did. If I could leave a -☆ I would. This place is horrible! 1. When I came to sign the lease, they pestered me the entire day as I was driving from WNC to Durham (and they knew where I was coming from) about whether or not I was coming in to sign the lease. 2. When I came to sign the lease they couldn't make up their minds about which unit they were placing me in.
