Thought I’d write a review now. My grandmother died 2018. She went there and left dead. They did some surgery and she ended up bleeding internally from what they did which I believe is what caused her death. The worst part is the “doctor” who was pronouncing her death, received a phone call and what did she do about that? She took her phone out of her pocket and declined the call then PUT IT ON MY DEAD GRANDMOTHERS BODY and continued to pronounce her time of death. I always feel like my grandma could’ve been here right now i... read more

I will never do pre-natal care with UHCC again, promise you. From start to finish my experience with UHCC has been trash. From me having to twist my physicians arm for my prenatal vitamins in the beginning of my pregnancy, her forgetting to put prescriptions in for me, down to the sonogram technician accidentally revealing the gender of my baby after I asked her not too & then trying to play it off. they are a JOKE. Every question I’ve ever asked is always followed by a dead end answer, I was told I can’t even keep my placen... read more

I’ll start by saying that I had no issues with the service or staff. I have huge issues with the hospital in general. Let me put the greediness of this hospital into perspective. My visit totaled 41 minutes, 25 of those minutes sitting and waiting to be registered. I spent approximately 10 minutes waiting for my CAT scan and the scan itself took less than five minutes for a total of 15 minutes. I know they will charge my insurance thousands of dollars for the scan. My problem is with the greed and avarice of Upstate Medical.... read more

Was at the ED with a parent and not only was the ED efficient, but the nurses, aids, registration and security personnel were all soooo nice. Despite the stress that must be under during this pandemic, the team in the ED haven’t lost their compassion and kindness. Thank you Upstate ED for making a tough time for my family a little easier. <3 Special thanks to Caiti and Antonio for being extra kind.

The medical staff are too notch. Very caring for not only the patient, but the family members that are there looking over their loved ones. The only thing that puts a blemish on such great care is the security. Not once but twice was I treated poorly because I guess the answer I gave wasn't good enough. I was polite and yet I was treated so poorly by them. I was threatened with being banned because the guard felt the need for a power trip. Felt like I was being judged - discriminated against by him. I hope he loses his job.

I am so pleased with this hospital. They have the nicest, most caring staff I have ever met. They take wonderful care of my father and always keep me in the loop and make sure I am a part of any decision they make. I'm so grateful for them.

I had the worst experience there today. I went in for a follow up and came out worse. No pain going into the hospital and by the time they “treated” me, my arm and hand were burning so bad. Not good experience at all. Also I went in for bad burns for the follow up appointment and didn’t even get to see the specialist.
