A young veteran attending the Univ. of Wyoming was told he couldn’t recite the Pledge of Allegiance at student government meetings because it might offend foreign students. Since when is saying the Pledge of Allegiance IN AMERICA offensive to anyone?! ANY FOREIGN NATIONAL WHO FINDS ANY PART OF THIS COUNTRY OFFENSIVE IS WELCOME TO GO BACK HOME AND UW CAN RETURN ALL FUNDS DERIVED FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
Did a Masters Degree in the late 60's. Great place then and I expect it to have continued in its excellence. Grandson will begin his studies there soon.
I loved being a University of Wyoming Cowboy. I had an amazing time and met some amazing people, but now I hear that a student, a combat vet who served for six years , is being told that he can't say the pledge of alligence before a student government meeting!!! Everyone should be proud of there country and not scared to show it!!!! I am embarrassed to be a UW Cowboy.
