Every time I come to Health Services, I'm met with a pleasant experience. Healthcare providers are really supportive and helpful. Nurse Anne-Marie does a great job, you can tell she holds a great degree of experience with patients as she's knowledgeable and creates a comfortable environment. Don't understand the crash-outs people have on here. I assume its from either stressed students with a gripe or those that had the time to go out of their way to write a bad review (most good experiences don't actually get written down cause they live on)
Dr. Wielgoz has to be the most condescending and pretentious doctor I’ve dealt with at UW Health Services, and that’s saying something. For your own well-being, avoid her if you can. She does that therapy-speak of “not disregarding your pain” while immediately telling you it isn’t “enough” because you managed to get out of bed, weren’t suicidal, and could talk during the appointment, which was really invalidating and dismissive when I was genuinely struggling (I even told her previously I had trouble sleeping bc of the pain ... read more
I had an emergency last year during the holiday season, and they were amazing! Everyone was so kind, caring, and helpful. I really appreciated how attentive the whole staff was.
