Exceptional life-saving care & a healthy baby: I gave birth there via induction due to hypertension and had amazing staff on both labor & delivery and the mother baby floors. Laboring suite was lovely with a huge room, tub if you want it, and views of Husky Stadium. I was readmitted for pp preeclampsia and again received great care from a team of mostly residents. Seems like there are already many patients who had bad experiences from this hospital besides me haha. I sent an email to Patient Relations team. Please could you let me know how long does it take to get a reply from the team?
This place is a disorganized craphole! After having a heart attack 2 weeks ago (went to Swedish) I came in with chest pains and inability to breathe. Brought in by ambulance, they took me in the back, did triage, an EKG and said they were admitting me- less than 1 hour for a room. They wheeled me into ER lobby and 2 hours later I asked about my room. Obnoxious lady says "You don't have a room. There are no rooms in emergency either and I had to see a doctor first." What!? Had a liver transplant from a living donor, it was amazingly slow recovery , but I am healthy 3 yrs post op, thank you to my family member that donated and UW for saving my life
