Super nice university facility, I have never seen anything like this in any other Uni. A number of different kinds of sports, a pool, a big gym, cardio machines, sauna. Why 3 stars tho? I find the "first come first serve" rule with the courts very illogical. There are only 2 (or 4?) pickle ball courts, and they're quite busy in the evenings, which is basically the only time most of the people can play. As a UW alum, I recently went to the IMA with my renewed membership for my Husky Card. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. When my card did not scan at the card-activated gate, I attempted a second time — just as I normally would, since everyone ahead of me had entered without any issue. The best gym facility around with all kinds of machines. Great locker room design - no more “nudity” that young men like to complain about in regular gyms, these are the types of guys who also mostly change under a towel or hide inside toilet stall to change so new locker room design at this facility nailed exactly what they wanted: no more nudity, no more naked people, still able to change under a towel alongside women in coed space or private “stalls” - sounds like any gym bro dream come true!
